| The Principals |
| |
Dan Trojan
Prior to founding Axus Technology,
Mr. Trojan was an engineering manager and key technical
contributor at several industry leading companies. Among
these were SpeedFAM-IPEC, Obsidian, and Strasbaugh.
During the last two decades, Mr. Trojan has developed
many novel and enabling technologies related to the grinding
and polishing of a wide variety of materials.
Mr. Trojan has developed or co-developed a number of new systems. Among these
are first generation CMP tools as well as several currently marketed high volume
production tools, which overall constitute a current installed base of more than
300 systems in use worldwide. In addition to CMP polish technology, he led the
engineering effort in creating post-CMP cleaning technologies that included in-situ
application of hydrofluoric acid and other chemistries. Mr. Trojan has also developed
specialized process tools, such as a system for manufacturing ceramic-substrate
based thermal conduction modules for supercomputers, and, the first automated
controlled curve generator for precision optics manufacture.
Mr. Trojan has several issued and pending patents related to high technology
materials processing equipment designs and processes. He holds a BSEE degree
from California State University Long Beach.
