Axus Technology Announces New Director of Process Technology

Chandler, AZ -- March 2, 2016 - Axus Technology is pleased to announce that Dr. Peter Wrschka has joined the company as the Director of Process Technology.   In this role, he will manage the process support team as well as the Axus Technology Foundry and Process Development facility.  Dr. Wrschka’s responsibilities include process development and support for CMP technology, substrate thinning, bonding, and cleaning technologies.

Dr. Wrschka completed his Ph.D. in physics at the University of Albany and began his career as a CMP process engineer at IBM, East Fishkill, where he did extensive work with copper, tungsten, and low-K processes used in DRAM manufacturing.  He was most recently a Global Applications Manager with Entegris with responsibility for the CMP Products Division where he managed advanced process development for post-CMP cleaning chemistries and development of certain consumable product lines.

The Axus Technology Foundry and Process Development group provides expert CMP, wafer thinning, and cleaning process development along with process consulting that allows users to develop and thoroughly characterize potential process approaches with the help of Axus’s highly-experienced process team.  The facility also provides efficient production services to users who choose not to purchase their own tooling, as well as supporting equipment development and demonstration projects.
